Sade C. van Wijk - Interim VP, Executive Search & Human Capital Solutions
Sade is the President and CEO of van Wijk, LLC and van Wijk Consulting & Advisory, B.V. She is a recognized and well-respected Human Capital leader, management consultant, and advisor to small and large, multinational, and highly matrixed organizations. Her companies are focused on human capital solutions, org effectiveness and process efficiencies, talent search and leadership and team coaching across the globe.
She currently serves as the interim Vice President, Executive Search & Human Capital Solutions at MalinHughes designing, building out and providing services for the Human Capital Solutions practice since its inception. Additionally, she supports the Executive Search Leadership Team, including enhancing the search process with a focus on both client – and candidate experiences.
She has 11+ years of experience in a broad range of human capital & strategic org. capabilities focused on Human Resources (HR) goals and priority planning, future of work / distributed workforce design & governance, organizational change, HR and people strategy & roadmap building, project management, talent acquisition, recruiting & Executive search, comms, diversity, inclusion, equity & belonging, employee experience, culture, talent management, transformation strategies, learning & development, and more.
During her career, Sade has led multiple, complex projects, programs, services, teams and workstreams and successfully delivered them to her clients and/or stakeholders across different industries, from small to mid-size firms and Fortune 100 companies.
She is known for her strategic and creative thinking, prompt, and high-quality delivery, building effective and inclusive teams, while fostering deliberate client and executive partnerships. van Wijk manages each opportunity with tact and pride and truly is invested in the success of the person, team, and company.
Sade is an active member of SHRM, Mom in Balance, and the Management Leadership for Tomorrow organization. She attended Rutgers University in New Jersey and completed her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in Finance and minors in Economics and International Entrepreneurship & Strategy. Additionally, during her time at Uber Technology Inc. she received executive education in Leadership & Strategy via Harvard Business School Online.
